Step 1: Understanding Structural Change provides definitions developed by individuals and organizations working in the area of structural race theory, and presents the structural change understandings and definitions adopted by Common Vision. Step 2: Framing Your Issue Through a Structural Change Lens provides tools designed to assist in developing a structural change analysis for your grantmaking issue. Step 3: Mapping the Field provides mapping tools to help identify explicit goals and evidence of impact for a specific issue area, and a tool that provides a process for identifying key stakeholders (including other funders). Step 4: Picking a Strategy to Fund provides a tool for identifying and assessing the potential strategies within each of the domains and activities identified in the previous step and a theory of change framework to help choose the best strategy to advance your long-term goals for structural transformation. Step 5: Developing and Disseminating Your RFP presents a model RFP for attracting proposals that have a structural change analysis, and describes two different strategies for RFP dissemination. Step 6: Evaluating Proposals offers a tool for assessing applicants’ proposals through a structural change lens, and lays the groundwork for evaluating the success of grantees. comments |
