Funders for LGBTQ Issues is excited to announce we will be holding the first ever Q-Summit.

This invitation-only event will bring together key partners and stakeholders from our three programmatic areas— Grantmakers United for Trans Communities, Philanthropic Organizing, and Out in the South.

From Grantmakers United for Trans Communities, we invited the fifth cohort of fellows from our GUTC Leaders Fellowship Program for their kick-off retreat.

From Philanthropic Organizing, we have invited the steering committee members from the Trans Futures Funding Campaign to work on the strategy and structure of the campaign.

From Out in The South, we have invited our Out in the South steering committee and our Out in the South Fund grantee partners. The steering committee will convene on the future and vision for the OTS Fund, and the grantees will take part in a collective healing offering and networking session.

We envision that this summit of queer, trans, and allied leaders from across the country will increase capacity, create community across philanthropy, and foster a deeper collective understanding of our external program areas. We look forward to sharing more about this event with our network upon its conclusion.
