MISSION The LGBT Resource Office provides support and a sense of community for students, faculty, staff, and alumni of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. We foster student leadership, as well as personal, academic, and professional growth, through volunteer opportunities and collaborative partnerships across campus. The Resource Office offers a safe and welcoming environment that promotes understanding, acceptance, and visibility of the LGBT community through a comprehensive range of educational programming and advocacy services. MISSION A moderated gender-issues support group serving the Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and nearby regions of North Carolina. Local members meet once a month in Durham, on the THIRD Saturday. DGA is guided by the principles of mutual respect, support, and education. Its goals are developing community, fostering leadership and offering outreach. Website
