The Leadership Pipeline in the LGBTQ Movement, Looking Toward 2020

Join us as we release a field wide study of LGBTQ leaders of color–the organizations they run and the issues they are advancing. As our community becomes increasingly diverse, our leadership must reflect that diversity. Yet we lack a significant bench of new leaders to take the helm of our core institutions. We’ll share data from the first pilot program specifically for LGBTQ grassroots leaders of color to deepen their capacity to lead organizations across our movement. This 6-month pilot is designed for prospective executive directors and includes sessions (in person and virtual) cover leadership, management, governance, strategic planning, fundraising, finances, marketing, evaluation and more.
