MISSION
HGLP is a social organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender parents, their partners and kids, as well as parents-to-be. Our hope is that the members of this group will find friends and support as we experience this journey of parenthood. We, as parents, need to assure our children that they are not the only ones with gay parents. Our children can find wonderful friendships within HGLP and know that as they grow up, they have friends to lean on for support, should this be a challenge for them. We parents also lean on each other as we find our way through parenthood. Knowing how to deal with the normal day-to-day issues as well as issues we face being gay parents is important.
