ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Ford Foundation’s People and Organizational Development team (P&OD) seeks a collaborative, strategic, team-oriented Manager of People Development (Manager) to manage, support and lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of global professional and organizational development programs and initiatives.
Reporting to the Global Director, P&OD, the Manager will hold a variety of responsibilities related to leadership, team, and organizational development; training and coaching; and change management to drive employee growth and organizational effectiveness. P&OD is part of the People & Culture (P&C) team. The Manager works in close collaboration with HR Business Partners (called P&C Partners), Organizational Effectiveness and Excellence team and other learning-centered teams within the foundation.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working on a small team, possess strong client-relationship and communication skills, and have a knack for managing multiple priorities effectively. They will see this role as an opportunity to expand their ability to design and deliver comprehensive development programs that contribute to the foundation's organizational culture.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position is primarily a sedentary role. The manager will be required to engage in oral group facilitation and one-on-one oral consultations online and in person. The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to liaise with internal staff, access files, office machinery and a copy machine/printer.

SALARY: The Ford Foundation is committed to salary transparency. The salary for this position is $120,000. We review global compensation regularly to ensure market competitiveness and equity.
LOCATION & TRAVEL: This position is based in the foundation’s New York office. We operate in a hybrid model and require staff to be in the office three days per week. Travel is not required to carry out the day to day functions of the role. Opportunities for travel may arise.
