Join us and help one of the fastest growing nonprofit organizations with its Treasury Management. We are looking for a self-starter with strong financial analysis skills and attention to detail who is looking to use their skills to make a real impact. You will work closely with our clients, or the external individuals that run the fiscally sponsored projects, to provide accurate analysis to ensure that the nonprofit’s cash management strategic, efficient and effective. The right candidate has strong client service skills and can work well in a fast-paced environment.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling of weekly and monthly cash flow projections for each Managed Organization.
  • Responsible for compiling monthly treasury reporting packet; including investments, interest return, and other treasury key performance indicators (“KPIs”) as instructed from Director of Treasury.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of MNPO operating, money market, payroll, and DBA bank accounts.
  • Communicating with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Accounts Receivable team to reconcile outstanding bank credit and debit transactions.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of investment activity rollforward of information (i.e., Goldman, Wells Fargo, etc.).
  • Managing the process of signature collection, data gathering for, and administration of treasury documents.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform second level payment review for outgoing payments from Managed Organizations.
  • Research, compile and record Treasury journal entries.
  • Pull selections and perform internal testing to assist with the annual audit for each Managed Organization.

Other Highly Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management or consulting
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics

Arabella Advisors provides operations and management support to multiple nonprofit organizations, including the New Venture Fund, the Windward Fund, and the Hopewell Fund—all 501(c)(3) public charities—and the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a 501(c)(4).These managed organizations house new and innovative public interest projects and nonprofits, as well as coordinate collaborative initiatives between donors and administer grants programs. This type of structure is commonly referred to as fiscal sponsorship, and candidates are highly encouraged to research fiscal sponsorship prior to a first interview. The managed organizations provide support to a diverse range of projects, including many focused-on conservation, global health and civic engagement.
