A Note on Salary Transparency
Funders for LGBTQ Issues is committed to equity in all aspects of our work and we believe that salary transparency is a racial, gender, and economic justice issue. Disclosing salaries in job postings invites more honest conversations about wage equity and can contribute to pay equity. We do not require that job postings include salary or a salary range, but we do invite you to consider embracing salary transparency if you do not already. Funders for LGBTQ Issues includes salary or salary ranges on all of our own job postings. Additionally, we post all staff salaries in our internal financial documents, available to both staff and board.
