“Marvin’s talents are too many and too varied to count. He is a financial maven who has shepherded our growth from a time when it was just the two of us on staff to our current team of eleven employees. I’ve never met anyone who’s as smart, planful, and creative when it comes to event logistics. Perhaps most impressively, he manages our human resources with a sense of abundance and love, always looking for how to make our organization a nurturing environment for all staff–especially during trying times like these. I feel lucky to have worked with him and learned from him these past seven and a half years.”

Five years after the Pulse shooting, Orlando has come a long way thanks to orgs like @ContigoFund and @QLatinx and inspiring leaders like @DREAMarcoAble and Joel Junior Morales. Grief is rarely linear or fast - and neither is justice. https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/12/us/pulse-shooting-latino-lgbtq-anniversary-trnd/index.html
