Please note: You do not need to be a member of Funders for LGBTQ Issues to attend—this event is open to everyone.

Join Funders for LGBTQ Issues, Movement Advancement Project (MAP), and Equality Federation for an analysis of what lies ahead for LGBTQ+ rights in 2025, featuring perspectives from both federal and state levels.

Logan Casey, Director of Policy Research at MAP, will guide us through key issue areas and trends in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and share a landscape analysis about how we can expect anti-LGBTQ+ bills to take shape in 2025.

Vivian Topping, Director of Advocacy and Civic Engagement at the Equality Federation, will also join us to share perspectives from the states, providing on-the-ground insights into recent policy shifts and local advocacy responses.

This virtual convening will offer:

  • High-level takeaways from recent elections and their implications for LGBTQ+ equality.
  • A state-focused perspective on fundamental policy changes impacting LGBTQ+ communities.
  • An exploration of the evolving tactics in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.
  • A candid discussion of the limitations and complexities in projecting these trends.

Join us for a conversation on the future of LGBTQ+ rights and how we can prepare for what’s to come.
