MISSION The Charleston School of Law Alliance for Equality is a gay-straight alliance formed to protect and promote the rights of the LGBT community. It is our mission to be active, educational, social, and supportive. We provide a forum to discuss current rights and social issues, as well as take affirmative action to make changes within the laws and within the community. MISSION Davidson College provides a number of resources and networks for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and asexual and/or ally (LGBTQA) students, faculty, alumni and employees. Through student groups, course curricula, hiring practices and the Safe Space program, Davidson is committed to creating a community that welcomes and fosters mutual respect among all campus members.
