Funders for LGBTQ Issues is excited to announce the newest members of its board and leadership. Last month, we celebrated the outgoing Vice Chair Paulina Helm-Hernández, Secretary Glo Ross, Treasurer Karen Appelbaum, and board members Lane Sugata, Namita Chad, and William (Bill) Smith. With deep gratitude for their contribution over the years, we know that they will continue to be advocates for our work and the LGBTQ movement.  

Join us in congratulating Katie Carter, Incoming Vice Chair; Aldita Amaru Gallardo, Incoming Secretary; and Lisa Owens, Treasurer, on their new roles as they work closely with Jonathan Jayes-Green, Chair.

With the continued challenges our communities face, we are thankful to have philanthropic changemakers and experts as an extension of our team to help amplify LGBTQ communities and issues. Our team has a thoughtful, collaborative relationship with each board member, and we’re excited to welcome new, inspiring members: Elisa Crespo (Stonewall Community Foundation), Jaqueline Tucker (Meyer Foundation), Maitri Morarji (Foundation for a Just Society), and MARS.
