Pronouns: She/Her/Hers April Bethea is the Director of External Affairs at Funders for LGBTQ Issues, where she oversees development and communications for the organization in service of its mission to educate and organize funders, and support power-building to create an abundance of resources for the justice and liberation of all queer communities. April is a proud two-time PhD dropout. Prior to joining Funders for LGBTQ Issues she worked at the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) where she oversaw membership, programming, mentorship, and educational opportunities for IFP’s community of emerging and established filmmakers and industry professionals. Pronouns: She/Her/Hers Nicole has strong experience in both administrative and programmatic roles, including roles in nonprofit and grassroots organizations. Some of Nicole’s experience includes serving as a Transform Fellow at the Sylvia Rivera Project and working with Black Trans Media to help organize their Trans Women of Color convening. Most recently, Nicole served as an Information and Referral Specialist at The Center.
