Virginia Anti-Violence Project

MISSION

The Virginia Anti-Violence Project works to address and end violence within and against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities across Virginia. We believe that in order to end homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and heterosexism we must also work against other oppressions including, but not limited to: racism, classism, sexism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, ableism and ageism. We affirm and develop LGBTQ leadership as essential to our mission.
