MISSION We are a group of gay fathers that socialize, network, and support each other in each of our personal journeys. GFC RVA members are committed to the following core values: We will be open and honest to all of our members and are committed to support each other. MISSION HGLP is a social organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender parents, their partners and kids, as well as parents-to-be. Our hope is that the members of this group will find friends and support as we experience this journey of parenthood. We, as parents, need to assure our children that they are not the only ones with gay parents. Our children can find wonderful friendships within HGLP and know that as they grow up, they have friends to lean on for support, should this be a challenge for them.
