MISSION ALSO Youth provides peer support services, educational programs, advocacy, and referrals for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and questioning youth in the Sarasota area ages 13 to 21, their families and friends, and the community, thereby enhancing self-esteem, promoting healthy dialogue, and increasing awareness of sexual minority youth issues. MISSION The Alliance for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning Youth coordinates a full range of quality services through partnerships with many Miami-Dade County service organizations. The Alliance serves youth, families and their communities while advocating for equal rights and status of all youth regardless of their real or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity/ expression.
