As Funders for LGBTQ Issues prepares to celebrate LGBTQ+ resilience at our annual Funding Forward Conference in Houston in April 2025, we are taking the time to get to know our partners and stakeholders in Texas to build across issues, create shared understanding, and strategize for resource mobilization. LGBTQ+ communities in the South have been surviving through multiple legislative attacks, hate crimes, and political unrest. Now is the time for LGBTQ philanthropy to come together, share experiences, implement strategies, and identify infrastructures to create during this time of upheaval.
