MISSION The Frank Harr Foundation was established to keep the humanitarian spirit and passion for social justice of its namesake alive in southeastern North Carolina. Frank Harr (1952-2008) proclaimed “we must educate the people” on matters of importance to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) people. Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, we will provide sensitivity and diversity education to impart a sense of unity, equality, and acceptance, as we encourage all people to reach beyond their comfort levels to bring about needed change.
