MISSION CTTGS is not a formal organization, with no meetings, by-laws, or that sort of thing. We began as a group of gender diverse individuals who found each other on the Internet, and for many years met monthly at a local restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, due to lack of volunteers to schedule the meetings and keep up with the mailing list, we discontinued the lunches. Instead, we encourage those who still wish to meet up to reach out to other organizations who provide meetings or other events. Website

MISSION CATS was founded in June of 2000. We are the longest running transgender support group in South Carolina. We offer a place where all members of the transgender community can gather to assist and support each other on our respective journeys. Website

MISSION The mission of the group is to provide a forum for education and consultation for healthcare professionals working with transgender individuals and their families. The group is also intended to serve as a resource for the transgender community to identify healthcare professionals who provide care and services to transgender individuals and their families.
