MISSION CTTGS is not a formal organization, with no meetings, by-laws, or that sort of thing. We began as a group of gender diverse individuals who found each other on the Internet, and for many years met monthly at a local restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, due to lack of volunteers to schedule the meetings and keep up with the mailing list, we discontinued the lunches. Instead, we encourage those who still wish to meet up to reach out to other organizations who provide meetings or other events. Website

MISSION The Charleston School of Law Alliance for Equality is a gay-straight alliance formed to protect and promote the rights of the LGBT community. It is our mission to be active, educational, social, and supportive. We provide a forum to discuss current rights and social issues, as well as take affirmative action to make changes within the laws and within the community. We offer a safe environment for people of all sexual orientations and a social network free from prejudice. Our membership is open to those who are gay and straight, as well as those open about their sexuality and those who wish to remain private.

MISSION The Charleston Social Club, an organization for lesbians and all women who are accepting of lesbians, was founded in 2003 by Lynn Dugan.We welcome women of all races, ages, ethnic heritage, religious and spiritual beliefs and physical abilities.
