MISSION Dallas Southern Pride (DSP) is official annual celebration for Black Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, and Queer (LGBTQ) individuals to come together and celebrate who and what we are. Beginning in 1997 with a small gathering of Black LGBTQ individuals coming together to party and hang out with one another. As the years continued, the community demanded a more formalized celebratory weekend with a host hotel, organized parties/events, and shows to provide a safe space for this community gathering. MISSION Carrollton Pride will provide educational outreach in Carrollton, host town hall meetings, work with other minority organizations to seek equal and appropriate representation, and hold nonpartisan voter registration drives. We are a social, nonpartisan group advocating for equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community members in Carrollton, Tx. Website

Using the transformative power of choral musical excellence, we sing to: empower and inspire critical thinking about social justice issues through individual and community healing; entertain and enlighten our audience and bring a smile to the human spirit; demonstrate to young people the power and importance of human voices raised together in song; and nurture our membership through fun and fellowship.
