MISSION Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) promotes the well-being of gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: -support, to cope with an adverse society; -education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; -advocacy, to end discrimination and secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity. Website | Facebook

MISSION Spectrum is a student run organization that promotes education and awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning issues to the Pfeiffer University community and is a safe space for students and allies. To serve as a vehicle of change in our community by helping LGBTQ youth navigate adolescence and young adulthood in positive ways while educating others regarding the worth, value, and benefits of a diverse population. MISSION One Voice is the Gay, Lesbian and Gay-Affirmative Chorus of Charlotte. Through artistic excellence, One Voice Chorus works to increase understanding and acceptance of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
