Board Forms Search Committee, Retains Recruiting Firm May 23, 2012 NEW YORK – The Board of Directors of Funders for LGBTQ Issues (“Funders”) today announced that Richard Burns has been named Interim Director, to serve while the search for a President is conducted. Burns will begin his duties during the week of June 18 in advance of Karen Zelermyer’s departure on June 29. Her last day with the organization will be June 29, 2012.
