Funders President/CEO Zelermyer Stepping Down

Board Salutes Leadership, Announces Transition Process April 23, 2012 NEW YORK-The Board of Directors of Funders for LGBTQ Issues (“Funders”) today announced that President/CEO Karen Zelermyer has decided to resign her position. Her last day with the organization will be June 29, 2012. International Report Indicates Increases in LGBTI Funding Still Inadequate for Pressing Needs in the Global South and East

Funders for LGBTQ Issues has just published its third edition of a report on grantmaking to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) communities in the Global South and East. Funders for LGBTQ Issues Releases 2010 Annual Report on Grantmaking

2010 REPORT SHOWS MODEST GAINS IN LGBTQ FUNDING SINCE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN (New York, NY – December 19, 2011) Funders for LGBTQ Issues has just published its annual tracking report on LGBTQ grantmaking which shows that, in 2010, U.S. foundations awarded $97.2 million to organizations explicitly serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) communities, an increase of 3.9% over the previous year.
